		What is Walkability? People walk for many different reasons including for fun, for their health, for transportation, and to help the environment by reducing car trips. Walkability is the idea that all these reasons are supported and enjoyed by people and groups such as families, schools, employers, neighborhoods, and more. To achieve this, walking must be supported by features such as sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, and reasonable walking distances between destinations. Many people report they would walk more if they felt safer, destinations were closer, or if they had more time. Walking: All Reasons All Seasons has many tools to help improve walkability in Clark County!
