Community Choices is committed to building a healthier Clark County. The Walking: All Reasons All Seasons awareness campaign was developed by Steps to a Healthier Clark County partners to support Clark County residents’ efforts to make walking part of their everyday lives.
Can we design our way to better health?
Community Choices invites you to attend "Making the Front Porch Connection: How do we create safe and active communities?"
This program will explore how communities designed with social connectivity in mind are safer and make it easier for residents to live an active lifestyle. The audience will have the opportunity to talk with a panel of representatives from a variety of organizations and agencies. Panelists will represent Vancouver Police Department, Clark County Sheriff, Neighborhood Associations, transportation planners, schools, child development experts, senior citizens, low income advocates, mental health advocates, advocates for people with disabilities, and more.

The address is 3606 NE 78 th St. Vancouver, WA 98665.Who should attend -- This event is for the general public and will be of special interest to parents, senior citizens, business owners, neighborhood associations, teachers and school administrators, architects, planners and developers.
